Dense hardwood forest and long-distance views of this sparsely developed valley give a feeling of remoteness. 17 miles of hiking trails with several loops, the shortest about 3 miles. Rugged; steep hills and valleys. Wild turkeys can be heard gobbling on spring mornings and occasionally during summer. Trout fishing in Hay Creek. Good fall color. Picnic area.
