The Guest Suite is on the lower level of our home. perfect for overnight, weekend, and short term guests in mind. Surrounded by Frontenac State Park, enjoy the quiet or head out for an adventure. A clean open space with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Our home is a quick drive to either Red Wing or Lake City. Or a scenic 45-minute drive to Rochester. Head down the road and enjoy Lake Pepin. Bring your water toys, and enjoy the day on the river.
The space
Enter through your private entrance via a code lock. We have a full kitchen to cook your meals, we have included some starter items like coffee, teas, honey from our hives, sugar, creamer, oil, salt & pepper. Relax in the massage chair in front of the gas fireplace or take a soak in the tub after a long day of exploring. Fresh sheets are ready for you to just fall into bed after a long day of adventure-seeking or if you’ve just been unwinding and relaxing around the house. Explore our 5 acres of land or head up to the State Park. Depending on the season you could be enjoying a hike, searching for morel mushrooms or fiddleheads or snowshoeing in the winter. Lose yourself on a hike in the beautiful fall colors. At night, sit outside by the fire pit. Check out one of the local eateries or bars, many of which now have live music during the weekend. We’ll be happy to give you information about where you can eat, play, or just hideaway during your stay.
Other things to note
Enter the driveway and then make a U-turn and park by the sign that states Guest Parking. It is slightly past the sidewalk where you enter the lower level to the home and where you will enter into the suite.
We now have Kayaks and life jackets for rent! You will be asked to sign a waiver before removing kyaks from the premise. Please contact us for more information on the rental of kayaks and trailer.
