Dueling Pianos and Duets

An afternoon of Piano Music! Thanks to a grant from weInvest365 of Greater Lake City Area Foundation, we are able to take advantage of temporarily having 2 grand piano’s in our gallery and offer an afternoon of piano music. Free will donations welcomed.

Prelude: 1:30 – 2:15 The afternoon will begin with a prelude featuring Lisa Wallerich, family, and friends, performing a variety of piano solos and duets.

Dueling Pianos: 2:30 – 3:30 Musicians Jon Davis and Jason Wright will perform an hour of relaxing jazz dueling piano.

Jon Davis – Jon has a bachelor of arts in music (emphasis in piano performance) from Mankato State University, plays piano for a big band in Rochester called Swing Street, frequently plays with D’Sievers jazz combo in various venues, and has been the pianist and/or musical director for over 80 musicals.

Jason Wright – Jason is a Music Teacher and Composer/Arranger of relaxing familiar piano music. Jason’s 6 easy listening piano albums found on all streaming services represent a spiritual connection to the church music he grew up to love. Jason has a Bachelor of Arts in vocal music education from Luther College, has been featured as an O’Neill Brothers musician and editor, previous director of the Park Rapids Classic Chorale, has taught in K-12 music education for more than 20 years publicly and privately, and has been the pianist/musical director for over 10 HS and community musicals.
